Crossloop is an outstanding remote access product. It's easy to setup and use, even by the technically challenged, and supports multiple Microsoft operating systems. Most important, it requires the requesting party to enter an access code, supplied by the person whose PC is being accessed, before the remote access session is permitted. The lack of chat and file transfer support are minor inconveniences compared to what you do get. Highly recommended!
